Start Guide
Lora turns internal links into named shortcuts your team can remember and share. This guide gets you from sign-up to a working workspace in a few minutes.
Understand the basics
Start here if you want to know how Lora works before setting anything up.
- Concepts — Learn about shortcuts, folders, tags, and workspaces. The building blocks of Lora.
- Using shortcuts — How your team accesses shortcuts day to day: browser extension, web app, or QR code.
Set up your workspace
Once you know the basics, create a workspace and configure it for your team.
- Sign up with your work email. This connects you to colleagues on the same domain.
- Install the browser extension so your team can use shortcuts directly from the address bar.
- Create your first shortcut — pick an internal link your team uses often and give it a name.
- Invite your team so everyone can access the same shortcuts.
For IT admins
If you’re rolling out Lora across a larger organization, see the Enterprise Rollout guide. It covers browser extension deployment via Chrome Enterprise, JAMF, Intune, and DNS-based setup.
Organize as you grow
Once your team is using shortcuts, these features help keep things structured:
- Folders — Group shortcuts by team, project, or topic.
- Tags — Add labels so shortcuts are findable without remembering the exact name.
- QR codes — Share shortcuts in physical spaces like offices, warehouses, or meeting rooms.
Track what gets used
Lora tracks every shortcut click so you can see what your team actually uses.
- Workspace Analytics — Usage data across your entire workspace: clicks, devices, locations.
- Personal Analytics — Your own shortcut usage and time saved.
