Install Lora

The Lora browser extension lets you access shortcuts directly from your address bar without opening the app.

Install the extension

Install the Lora extension for your browser:

You can use the Chrome version in compatible Chromium-based browsers such as Brave. After installation, the Lora icon appears in your browser toolbar and gives you quick access to your Workspace.

Pin the extension

After installing, you may need to pin the extension so the Lora icon is always visible.

In Chrome, click the puzzle-piece icon in the toolbar to open the extensions menu. Find Lora in the list and click the pin icon. The Lora logo will then stay visible in your browser bar for one-click access.

Edge and other Chromium-based browsers have similar extension menus. In Firefox, open the extensions menu, select the settings icon next to Lora, then select Pin to Toolbar.

Using the extension

Once installed, you can open shortcuts directly from your browser’s address bar. Type short followed by a space, then enter the name of the shortcut you want to use. Autocomplete suggests matching shortcuts as you type.

For example, typing short hr will suggest /handbook and /vacation. Press Enter to go directly to the shortcut.

If shortcuts don’t appear or sign-in fails, try the following:

For missing shortcuts:

  • Verify you’re signed in to the correct workspace
  • Check that the correct workspace/project is selected in the extension
  • Ensure shortcut permissions are enabled for your role

For sign-in failures:

  • Verify your credentials are correct
  • Try signing out and signing back in
  • Request a new email one-time code, use Google, or use a registered passkey. Lora accounts do not have a password to reset.
  • Check your network connectivity
  • Update or clear the extension cache

Supported browsers

Lora publishes extensions for Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. You can install the Chrome version in other Chromium-based browsers if your organization’s policies allow it. Safari is not currently supported.
