Folders
Folders in Lora help you organize shortcuts by team, department, or project. They provide a dedicated space where related shortcuts are grouped together, making it easier for everyone to discover and manage resources.
How folders work
Every shortcut has one primary folder and can also appear in additional folders. A folder has a name and optional description, and its page lists the shortcuts it contains.
Creating folders
Create a new folder from the Folders section in the sidebar, or while creating a shortcut by selecting Create new folder. Edit a shortcut to move it to another folder.
Using folders
Folders are ideal for grouping shortcuts by purpose. For example, HR might keep /handbook, /vacation, and /benefits together, while Engineering groups /deploy, /design-system, and /jira (these are slash-prefixed shortcut paths). See the shortcuts documentation for more details.
Folder limits
Free includes one folder, Basic includes up to ten, and Business or Enterprise allows unlimited folders.
Workspace-level permissions
Folder management follows the workspace role and plan rules described in Members and roles. Lora has no workspace-level Viewer role.
Folder-level permissions
The current product does not expose per-folder Owner, Editor, Viewer, or No-access assignments, and it does not provide a separate folder-analytics dashboard. Folder placement does not change a shortcut’s visibility or ownership rules.
