Delete your Lora account
Permanently delete your Lora account from the web app.
Deleting your Lora account removes your account, your login methods, your private shortcuts, and every workspace only you are in. You start it yourself and confirm it from an email. This can’t be undone.
Before you start
Lora only lets you delete your account when nothing is in the way. If the page tells you that you can’t delete it yet, one of these is still open:
- You’re in a workspace with other people. Leave it first. If you’re the only Workspace Owner there, make another member a Workspace Owner before you leave: go to Administration → Members and choose Change role → Owner for that person. See Managing ownership. If Lora doesn’t let you leave a workspace, ask an Admin or Workspace Owner to remove you.
- A workspace that would be deleted has a pending invitation. In that workspace, go to Administration → Invitations and select Revoke next to each pending invitation. Expired invitations don’t count.
Workspaces where you’re the only member don’t stop you. They’re deleted together with your account, so export anything you want to keep first, such as workspace analytics if your plan includes exports. If an admin suspended you in a workspace, that membership doesn’t stop you either.
Delete your account
- Open
https://app.uselora.com/delete-accountand log in. - Review the workspaces that will be deleted with your account, if there are any. Tick the box to confirm you understand they’re deleted immediately, together with everything in them.
- Click Send confirmation email. Lora sends the email to the address on your account.
- Open the email and click Delete my account. The link is valid for 24 hours. Open it in the same browser where you’re logged in to Lora, because it only works with an active login session.
- You land on the Account deleted page. Your account is gone.
Note: Your account is only deleted when you open the link in the email. If you didn’t request the email, ignore it and nothing happens.
What Lora deletes
When you open the link, Lora deletes:
- Your Lora account
- Your login methods, such as passkeys and email login
- Your private shortcuts
- Every workspace only you are in, with everything in it: its shortcuts, folders, tags, members, invitations, and API keys. Any paid subscription of such a workspace is cancelled, so billing stops.
Note: Deleting your account cancels subscriptions only for the workspaces that are deleted with it.
What Lora keeps
- Shortcuts you shared in workspaces with other people, including workspaces you already left, stay with those workspaces and pass to another member of each.
- Form submissions collected through a workspace’s forms stay with that workspace, but they’re no longer linked to you.
- Backups. Deleted data may remain in restricted backups until the relevant backup cycle expires. Read the privacy policy for details on how Lora handles your data.
FAQ
The page says I can’t delete my account yet
The page at https://app.uselora.com/delete-account only offers Send confirmation email when your account can be deleted. It isn’t in your profile settings or on the workspace list. Check two things, then reload the page:
- You’re still in a workspace with other people. Leave it. If you’re the only Workspace Owner, make another member a Workspace Owner first.
- A workspace that only you are in has a pending invitation. Revoke it under Administration → Invitations in that workspace.
My confirmation link no longer works
If you see Link no longer valid, the link was already used, has expired, or you opened it in a browser where you’re not logged in. Go back to https://app.uselora.com/delete-account, log in, and click Send confirmation email again to get a new link.
If Lora refused the link, that link is used up too. This happens when you joined a shared workspace after requesting it, or when a workspace that would be deleted with your account got a pending invitation. Fix the cause, then request a new one.
