How to share Claude artifacts and ChatGPT Sites at work

To share a Claude artifact or ChatGPT Site with your team, copy its shared URL into a Lora shortcut. A name like /onboarding gives colleagues a way to open it again without searching through old chat messages. If the tool moves, you can update the shortcut’s destination.
This works for resources people need regularly, such as an onboarding guide or project dashboard. Choose one your team already asks for, then check the content and try its main actions before sharing it.
Claude calls its shareable creations artifacts. OpenAI’s hosted website and app feature is called Sites. In either case, you need the link to the finished resource rather than the conversation where you created it.
Share a Claude artifact
In Claude on the web or desktop:
- Open the artifact and select Share.
- On Team or Enterprise, choose who should have access: specific people or your organization.
- Set the appropriate access level and copy the link.
Artifacts shared with Share or Share & copy link require a Claude account. Legacy chat artifacts shared with Publish can be opened by anyone with the link without an account; features that use Claude still require one. Sharing legacy chat artifacts can also expose chat attachments. Check Claude’s artifact sharing guide for your artifact type.
Share a ChatGPT Site
Open Sites in ChatGPT and review the version you want colleagues to use before deploying it. Use the sharing controls to give your workspace or selected people access, where supported, then copy the deployed Site’s URL. Your plan and workspace settings determine the available sharing options; see OpenAI’s Sites guide.
Sites is in public beta. Rollout and workspace settings affect access. Check OpenAI’s availability guidance before planning a rollout.
Before adding either link to Lora, ask a colleague to open it with their own work account. The page may work for you as its creator while someone else gets an access error.
Create the Lora shortcut
Once the shared page works, create a shortcut in Lora:
- Open your team’s Lora workspace and choose Create Shortcut.
- Paste the shared artifact or Site URL as the destination.
- Choose a short name, such as
onboarding, and add a description explaining what people will find. - Select a suitable folder and Workspace visibility so your workspace members can find it.
- Save the shortcut and open it to check the destination.
With the Lora browser extension, colleagues type short, press Space, then type onboarding in the address bar. They can also find and open the shortcut in the Lora web app. For a message or document, share the shortcut’s full URL so recipients have a clickable link.
Choose a name
Use the task as the name. /onboarding tells a colleague what to expect without asking them to remember which AI tool you used.
| Shared resource | Lora shortcut |
|---|---|
| Interactive new-hire guide | /onboarding |
| Product launch checklist | /launch |
| Practice exercise for a sales conversation | /sales-practice |
| Overview of the current project | /project-status |
Check whether the name is already taken in your workspace. If /onboarding already opens your company handbook, choose a specific name such as /onboarding-demo for an experimental tool.
A name like /claude-artifact-final-v3 gets awkward as soon as you make another version. /sales-practice can stay the same as you revise the exercise. See our shortcut naming guide for more examples.
Keep the name when the destination changes
If you replace a Claude artifact with a ChatGPT Site or an intranet page, edit the existing shortcut’s destination URL in Lora. Keep its name, and the shortcut links you’ve already shared will open the replacement.
Pick someone to maintain that destination and check it after major changes. Share the Lora link from the beginning: a raw platform URL pasted into an old chat will not change when you update Lora.
Check who can open the tool
Colleagues need to belong to the Lora workspace and log in to open its shortcuts. They also need whatever access the destination requires. Lora redirects them to the artifact or Site; it does not host the tool or grant a Claude or ChatGPT account.
Set the audience on the original platform as well as in Lora. Putting a public page behind an internal shortcut does not make that page private: its original URL still works independently.
Share the shortcut with your team
When you introduce the tool, put its Lora link in the announcement. For colleagues with the extension, include how to open it from the address bar: short, Space, onboarding.
