Workspaces
A workspace in Lora is the home for your team’s shortcuts. Every shortcut, folder, tag, and member belongs to a workspace. Workspaces keep knowledge organized and ensure that each team has its own space with separate data and permissions.
Creating a workspace
You can create a new workspace when signing up for Lora or from the workspace switcher in the app. Each workspace has a unique subdomain in the format:
app.uselora.com/[workspace]
We recommend creating your workspace with your company name or team name so it’s easy for members to recognize.
Switching between workspaces
If you are part of multiple organizations, you can switch between workspaces using the dropdown menu in the top-left corner of the app. Each workspace is completely separate, with its own shortcuts, folders, tags, analytics, and members.
Workspace settings
Owners and Admins can manage workspace settings by going to Administration → Workspaces. From here, you can:
- Update the workspace name and subdomain
- Upload a workspace logo
Deleting a workspace
Only owners can delete a workspace. To do so, go to Administration → Workspaces → Delete Workspace. Deletion is permanent and removes all shortcuts, folders, tags, members, and analytics associated with the workspace. We recommend exporting your analytics and shortcuts before deleting.
